The system is controlled by an Arduino microcontroller, which is connected to the IR receiver, ultrasonic sensor, servo motor, and LCD display. When a user presses the correct button on the IR remote control, the system verifies the signal using a debounce function, and then opens the garage door by rotating the servo motor. The LCD display shows a message indicating that access has been granted.
